Due Date: 4/14
This Class Exercise will be a combination of previously covered methods. Opacity, Gradients and Type.
Opacity in Photoshop is a great way to mix colors, achieve atmospheric perspective, and provide viewers with focal points. With the Opacity toggle, we will adjust how much or how little of a color or photo we can see.
Along with Opacity, we will talk about the Type tool and how warping the type with The Warp Tool really helps to add some whimsical effects.
You already know about selection tools: Lasso tools, Magic Wand, and Quick Selection Tool. These will be used to help us cut-out objects from their backgrounds.
You also know about Gradients are a way to achieve subtle changes in color shifting. They are indispensable way to get a “quick background”
Task:
Create 3 different compositions that utilize your knowledge of gradients, warped type, opacity and photo compositing.
